Situation
A sales agent travels extensively throughout the county and meets with companies in the automtive service industry. The agent needs to documents each visit and review the history of business affairs. The agent also needs to quickly locate hotels in close proximity to his customers and to track his overnight experience to consider future patronage and tax purposes.
A process was needed to easiy find both automotive service providers and hospitality providers based upon the zip code of the customer address the agent was prepared to visit. Many of the clients reside in remote areas where Internet and cellular services were unavailable or unreliable.
Microsoft Access Database Solution
A solution was created to use Microsoft Access to easily locate and display service providers. After the company was selected, he was able to add aditional details regarding the visit.

Right click on the Locator link appropriate for the version of Microsoft Office installed on your computer. Some versions of Window's will require the user to right click on the database file and select Properties and Unblock the security option on the General tab (below the Attribute area).
